Expert Photography Tips

Expert Photography Can Be Faked

I am not an expert photographer but I have prints on my walls that would indicate otherwise. They are photographs which I personally captured with an inexpensive digital camera but they look suitable for the covers of magazines or even for a photo calendar. So if I am not an expert photographer and I use inexpensive equipment to capture my shots, what is my secret?

My secret is that I have a friend that is an expert photographer and has done an excellent job at making me look good when it comes to my amatuer photos. My photographer friend, Bill, has been an invaluable source of knowledge when it comes to professional photography techniques and doing what expert photographers do.

Not only has his advice made me take on a whole new appreciation of how I capture photos, it has made me more aware of the beauty around me. I now see all sorts of scenes as potential good photographs.

The best part is that my professional photographer friend is a wizard with PhotoShop and knows how to make my digital photos come alive. He has taken the digital memmory card from my camera and combined several of the photos to form perfect seamless panorama views that look like something only an expert photographer could shoot.

Bill has also used his equipment and know how to put my photos on high quality paper and mat and frame them with professional quality materials.

In these pages I will attempt to impart some of the expert photography tips that have helped me achieve a level of excellence that is far from amatuer (at least in how the final prints look.)
